Patients and caregivers are invited to this FREE conference featuring OSUCCC – James experts talking about the latest developments in GI cancers. The event will include a keynote address by Jeffrey VanDeusen, MD, PhD, Associate Director for Community Network Relations at the OSUCCC – James, and updates on the treatment, genetics, research and clinical trials for GI cancers. There also will be breakout sessions for caregivers.

BEYOND RISK CONFERENCE FOR HBOC AND LYNCH SYNDROME SURVIVORS

This year’s FREE Beyond Risk Conference for Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer (HBOC) and Lynch Syndrome (LS) Survivors will have separate tracks for HBOC and LS.

RELATIONSHIP-BASED RESILIENCE RETREAT
Offered by The James Department of Professional Practice
This one-day retreat is based on Relationship-Based Care (RBC) principles and will focus on developing resilient and compassionate caregivers/staff. It is intended primarily for staff members who have not attended a two- or three-day RBC retreat in the past.

All head and neck cancer patients and caregivers are welcome to join the OSUCCC – James for this FREE conference, which will focus on providing the most relevant information for patients. The conference will include a keynote presentation by a head and neck cancer survivor, as well as an expert panel and resource tables to give updates on treatment and research, symptom management, surveillance for recurrence, nutrition and support resources.
