24 OSUCCC – JAMES PHYSICIANS MAKE NEWSWEEK ‘BEST DOCTORS’ LIST

Two dozen physicians at the OSUCCC – James are included on a list of “Top Cancer Doctors 2015” presented last month by Newsweek magazine in conjunction with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd, the publisher of America’s Top Doctors®. The list also contains three physicians from Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
According to the magazine, the list was compiled through peer nominations and extensive research that Castle Connolly has conducted for more than two decades.
In its Cancer 2015 Issue, Newsweek reports that The Castle Connolly physician-led research team makes tens of thousands of phone calls each year, talking with leading specialists, chairs of clinical departments and vice presidents of medical affairs, seeking to gather further information about the top specialists for most diseases and procedures. Each year, Castle Connolly receives nearly 100,000 nominations via this process.
