2010 ASCO REVIEW SLATED FOR JUNE 19

Oncology specialists, primary care physicians and all specialists, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat patients with cancer are invited to attend the 2010 ASCO Review on Saturday, June 19, from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Hilton Columbus at Easton, 3900 Chagrin Drive, Columbus.

The conference will cover the latest information on the diagnosis, prevention and pathophysiology of cancer, as well as advances in therapy and evidence-based management of cancer, as presented at the 2010 annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), which will be held June 4-8 in Chicago. The June 19 ASCO Review also will include a review of case studies in the treatment of solid tumors.

Faculty for the ASCO Review will include disease-specific leaders from Ohio State, many of whom are part of regional, national and international committees that establish guidelines to detect, prevent and treat cancer.
